GearSay is a start-up focused on helping people to get outdoors and get active.
Inspired by an Ironman triathlete’s struggle to find good information about expensive equipment, I was hired to help build a new, central feature called “Kits”. GearSay’s Kits are themed collections of dynamic and curated content that helps users discover apparel, equipment, and tangible products related to venues, races, and other intangible experiences. Kit creators like mountain owners and race organizers benefit from new revenue opportunities, while users are able to enjoy their sports in deeper dimensions.
In terms of outcomes, the Kit's feature has helped GearSay grow significantly:
